FAQ
The same ten
questions come up at the counselling table every March and every
November. Here they are, answered straight.
Is this a real company internship or just a
training program?▾
It is a
real company internship. Infonic runs its own IT company
with live clients, and the tasks assigned to you go to
actual client accounts rather than dummy projects. That
is also why there are deadlines, review rounds and
corrections — a client is waiting at the other end. Your
certificate documents the work you genuinely handled,
not a course you attended.
Will my internship certificate be accepted by my
college for submission?▾
The
certificate comes on official letterhead with the
company seal, our CIN number, your name, your role, the
duration and the specific work areas you handled. Most
colleges in Rajasthan accept it without any issue for
industrial training and internship submission. A few
departments insist the training happen inside a
registered hiring company — show us your circular before
you pay and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
What exactly will be written on my internship
certificate?▾
Your
full name, the internship role, the field of work, the
programme duration and the key responsibilities you
handled, along with the official company letterhead,
seal and an authorised signature. It is not a blank
generic letter with only a name and a date range.
My college has its own report format. Will the
report be written in that format?▾
Yes.
Bring the format sheet or circular your department hands
you to the counselling meeting. The mentor maps the
report structure to it — objective, company profile,
methodology, analysis, findings, conclusion, annexures,
whatever your university asks for — and the certificate
page goes on company letterhead. We do not claim a
tie-up with any university; we simply match the format
you are given.
Is there a viva or a final presentation at the
end?▾
Yes, and
you rehearse it here first. You present your project to
your mentor and get asked the awkward questions — why
this approach, what changed in week four, what does this
number mean — before your examiner asks them. Most
students find out in the mock viva which two or three
slides they cannot yet defend, which is exactly the
point of doing it early.
How much attendance is required, and what happens
if I miss days?▾
Seventy-five per cent is the minimum for the certificate
and the signed attendance record, because most colleges
ask for it. Miss a day for an exam or a family reason
and the mentor reschedules the task; disappear for two
weeks and the duration on your certificate will reflect
what you actually did. We will not certify time you did
not put in.
How often do new internship batches start
here?▾
New
batches start every month, in both offline and live
online mode, so you are not waiting for a single annual
admission cycle. Summer and winter break batches fill
fastest — seats for the May to July window usually go in
March and April.
Can I choose my internship field, or is it decided
for me?▾
You
choose your field. A counsellor meets you first to
understand your background, your degree requirement and
your career goal, then recommends a track from the
twelve domains listed above. If the choice is wrong for
your syllabus, you will be told so before you pay rather
than after.
I want a digital marketing internship but my
degree is B.Com. Can I still apply?▾
Yes.
Your degree background does not decide which internship
track you get. B.Com and M.Com students regularly
complete digital marketing, content writing, HR and
e-commerce internships here, and B.Tech students
sometimes take the content or marketing track because
that is where their interest is.
Is a stipend paid, and what does the fee
cover?▾
This is
a paid programme, so the student pays the fee — from
₹9,000 for the four-week track. Eligible interns placed
on client work receive a performance-linked stipend
based on performance, consistency and the project, but
it is not guaranteed and nobody here will promise it at
admission. The fee covers mentor time, tool access, the
project, the report and synopsis help, the mock viva,
the certificate and placement support. There is no
separate exam, certificate or material charge.
