Track Lock-In And College Format
Your track, your project topic and your university’s report format are settled in the first three days. Accounts takes a books-and-Tally brief, GST takes a return-cycle study, MIS takes a reporting brief, back office takes a process study, marketing takes a campaign brief, e-commerce takes a store brief. The submission date goes on the calendar in week one, not week seven.
Tools, Logins And Synopsis Draft
Tally Prime, the GST portal walkthrough, Excel and Sheets, Analytics, Seller Central or Ads Manager — whichever your track needs is set up on your own login. Your two-to-four page synopsis is drafted this week, because most commerce departments want it signed before the project runs.
Ground Work And Data Collection
The first real task lands. Accounts interns start entering a full month of vouchers. GST interns pull invoice data for a return cycle. MIS interns clean a raw data dump. Marketing and e-commerce interns collect competitor and platform data. This is where the numbers your report will analyse come from.
Live Work On A Real Brief

Execution Week Two — It Gets Checked

Reports, Reconciliation And Analysis
Now the outputs exist, you interpret them. Trial balance and P&L read properly, GSTR data matched line by line, the MIS pack explained in plain sentences, campaign or store numbers compared week on week. The analysis chapter of your report is built out of this week.
University-Format Internship Report
The report is written to your university’s structure — certificate page, declaration, acknowledgement, company profile, objectives, methodology, data analysis with charts and tables, findings, limitations, conclusion, bibliography and annexures. Your mentor marks up the draft chapter by chapter.
Presentation, Assessment And Certificate
You present the work to the batch, then sit the assessment — task quality, submission regularity and mentor feedback, not attendance alone. Seventy-five percent attendance and finished work earn the training letter, the attendance record and a certificate stating your track, duration and grade.

Most B.Com programmes place the internship or summer training requirement in the fifth or sixth semester, and most M.Com programmes in the third or fourth, submitted as a report with a company certificate, an attendance record and often a viva. This programme is built around that submission. We do not claim a tie-up with any named university — what we do is match the report to the format sheet your department hands you and put the certificate page on company letterhead. Bring the circular to the counselling meeting; if your college insists the training happen inside a registered hiring company, we will say so before you pay. These are Jaipur ranges for freshers, not promises. Here is the honest part a counsellor should tell you: a B.Com degree alone puts you in the ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 a month back office queue with a hundred other applicants. What lifts a commerce fresher’s salary is proven Excel and Tally skill — the candidate who can build a pivot-driven MIS pack and close a month in Tally gets interviewed first and negotiated with, every time. Add the IT productivity course or the data analysis course and you move out of that queue. Anyone promising a guaranteed package to a fresher is not being straight with you.
An honest note: the letter and certificate are accepted by most commerce universities, not all. A few departments will only accept training done inside a registered hiring company or a CA firm.
