Data work after AI
Be straight about what has changed. ChatGPT will write your VLOOKUP, generate a SQL query and summarise a report in seconds, and anyone selling a course that ignores this is wasting your months. What it will not do is notice that the sales file has three spellings of the same city, that a month of orders is missing because an export failed, or that the number your manager asked for is not the number the business actually needs. That judgement — is this data clean, is this the right question, does this answer change any decision — is the entire job, and it is why analyst roles in Jaipur are still open. Read those numbers honestly. A fresher in Jaipur does not walk out of a six-month course into ₹80,000 a month, and any institute suggesting otherwise is selling you something.
